"Where Today's Transportation Meets Tomorrow's Innovation"

The Michigan Clean Transportation Expo & Awards Gala celebrates Michigan's burgeoning clean transportation industry. The event is held at Rock Financial Showplace in Novi on Wednesday, September 24th, 2008. The MCT Expo & Awards Gala is where key decision-makers can network with you to find answers to pressing clean transportation questions. Whether you are a technical expert, entrepreneur, investor, policy maker, academic, or if your interest is in biofuels, tomorrow's vehicles, hybrids, what's new in pending legislation, or the latest in fuel cell technology, the MCT Gala has what you are looking for!

Event Overview

The MCT Expo & Awards Gala runs from 4:00 until 9:00pm on Wednesday, September 24 and includes three unique tracks:

  1. A Public Expo from 4:00 until 9:00pm featuring presentations from technology innovators, vehicle displays, and other clean transportation exhibitors.
  2. Networking and cocktails from 6:00 to 7:00pm - your chance to meet the professionals you need to grow your business
  3. An Awards Gala, with dinner, from 7 to 9:00pm featuring three keynote speakers: John Hieftje, Mayor of Ann Arbor, who will describe Ann Arbor's efforts to become America's Greenest City; John Hertel, CEO & General Secretary, Regional Transit Coordinating Council (RTCC), who will outline in detail Detroit's forthcoming Woodward Light Rail transit system; and David Berdish, Manager, Ford Urban Mobility Networks, who will describe how information technology will transform transportation. In addition, awards will be given out in select categories.
